SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University sophomore running back Akeem Satterfield was named PSAC West Offensive Player of the Week.

Satterfield had 25 carries for 240 yards and four touchdowns in The Rock's 45-26 win over Merrimack (Mass.) last Thursday.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Slippery Rock University men's soccer team has moved up to No. 11 in the National Soccer Coaches of America Division II preseason poll.The ranking matches the highest in the program's history. SRU is 1-0-1 under first-year coach Michael Bonelli.SRU opens the 2010 PSAC schedule at 4 p.m. today against Millersville at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
