The Slippery Rock University softball team picked up 10-1 and 11-0 victories over host Virginia State Thursday.

Butler graduate Jenna Geibel and Jordan Zeunges each had four RBI on a three-run homer by Zeunges and a solo shot by Geibel in Game 1 while Geibel had three RBI in the nightcap.

Knoch graduate Kristen Brant had two hits and two runs in the opener.

In the second game, Shaylee Ianno pitched a no-hitter with nine strikeouts in five innings.
