The Slippery Rock University softball team extended its winning streak to 13 games with a doubleheader sweep, 9-0 and 11-1, over Salem International Monday.

Butler High grad Jenna Geibel went 5-for-6 with four RBI while Katie Saluga belted two home runs and drove in four runs for SRU (16-2).

Saluga improved her hitting streak to 15 games.

Shauna Walker (6-2) and Shaylee Ianno (10-0) picked up the victories.
