Butler Township Police have identified the pedestrian struck by a vehicle Monday on Route 8.

Police said Brian Willoughby, 27, of Butler, was hit by a vehicle driven by Adrian Damico, 66, of Pittsburgh.

Crews were dispatched at 7:39 a.m. to the area in front of Sheetz on Route 8.

Willoughby was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.

Police said Damico was uninjured in the crash.
