Karsan Simpson doubled, singled three times and drove in five runs as the Butler County Community College softball team completed a doubleheader sweep of the Community College of Allegheny County with a 17-2 win in Game 2 Tuesday.

Cassie Vogan added two triples and four RBI and Shawna Black and Colleen Cannon also had triples.

Jhoey DeWalt tossed a complete game in the circle.

The Pioneers won 3-2 in the first game. Kate Myers struck out nine and also had a double, single and two RBI and DeWalt doubled home another run for BC3 (5-7).
