Mary D. Feehan, 93, of Butler passed away Wednesday at New Haven Court in Butler.

Born Feb. 16, 1922, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Eleanora (Rossner) Waltman.

She did secretarial work for the VA Butler Healthcare Medical Center. She previously worked in Harrisburg for the Pennsylvania Historical Society. Following her marriage, she was a homemaker and a Summit Township auditor for many years.

She was a lifetime member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler and the Christian Mothers of the church. She volunteered in serving meals for the annual church picnics, dedicating over 75 years of service.

She was a member of the Highland Golf Course and its Tuesday morning league, a member of the Spice Girls Bowling League at the Sherwood Lanes in Lyndora and an original member of her card club, which originated in 1945. She especially enjoyed dancing.

Surviving are her son, Randall (Sharon) Feehan of Butler; two daughters, Annette (Lewis) Earley of Chicora and Kathleen (Mitchell) Beers of Butler; her grandchildren, Kara Nastasi, Krispen Kriner, Erica Michael, Ryan Earley and Todd Walker; eight great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Feehan, who passed away April 15, 2005; and her daughter, Elaine Kriner.

FEEHAN — Friends of Mary D. Feehan, who died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Butler, with the Rev. Matthew McClain, pastor, officiating.
