Boy, 11, struck by stray bullet inside of home
CHESTER, Pa. — Authorities say an 11-year-old boy was hit by a stray bullet that entered his home in the violence-plagued city of Chester, where two men were killed by gunfire in weekend shootings.
Police said shots were fired outside the home just before 10 p.m. Saturday, and one went through the wall and struck the child in the upper chest. The boy was taken to a medical center in stable condition and was to be transported to a Philadelphia hospital.
The Delaware County Daily Times reported police found a 28-year-old man dead after gunfire Friday night. Just before 3 p.m. Saturday, officers found a 23-year-old man shot to death.
