Brett N. Ellis

Brett N. Ellis, 57, of Zelienople, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, while under the care of the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit of Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born on Aug. 21, 1964, in Butler, he was the son of Jane Schweinberg Ellis and the late William Ellis.

For 30 years, Brett worked as a property/casualty claims manager for Erie.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, ATV trail riding in West Virginia, and biking on the trails in Foxburg. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, son and brother, who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Brett leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Susette M. Ellis; his mother, Jane Ellis of Zelienople; his son, Jake Ellis of Boardman, Ohio; and his brother, Quinn (Laura) Ellis of Portersville.

ELLIS — Friends of Brett N. Ellis, who died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Susie Esseck officiating.

Brett will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Reformed Church Cemetery in Zelienople.

Memorial donations may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
