CARNEGIE MELLON CONNECTION
Director Greg Mottola, left, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, talks to actor Jesse Eisenberg on the set of “Adventureland.” The film, which opened Friday, is based on Mottola’s experiences working at the Long Island amusement park of the same name, and is set in Pittsburgh in 1987. Most of the scenes were shot at Kennywood Park in West Mifflin, and many of the amusement park’s rides can be seen in the film.
