Police say 3 adults, 2 teens took part in ambush robbery

PARKER, Armstrong County — Five people, two of them youths, are accused of an ambush robbery that left a 21-year-old man with facial fractures, state police said.

Troopers arrested the suspects Wednesday in connection with the incident around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on South Jackson Avenue in Parker, where the victim was allegedly lured by one of them, a woman, for sex.

Charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and theft are Jensen C. Fair, 20, and Brock M. Fair, 19, both of Parker; Michael L. Hutchinson, 24, of Butler, a 15-year-old Parker boy and a 15-year-old Butler boy.

The three adults are in the Armstrong County Jail on $25,000 bail each. The boys are charged in Armstrong County juvenile court.

Police said the victim, who lives in St. Petersburg, reported that he had been using the messaging app Snapchat to talk to a friend, who was identified as Jensen Fair.

The woman “solicited the victim for approximately $300 in exchange for sex,” according to a police report. They agreed to meet in a wooded area on South Jackson Avenue.

Jensen Fair and the victim arrived there within five minutes of one another. Police said as they stood outside their vehicles, the other four co-defendants approached and attacked the man.

Hutchinson, Brock Fair and the two boys are accused of punching and kicking the victim in the face “until he was unconscious,” the report said.

Police described Hutchinson as Jensen Fair's boyfriend. She and Brock Fair are not related.

When the victim regained consciousness, police said, he found he was missing about $300. He was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.

Troopers found the suspects Wednesday morning, and four of them, police said, gave “full confessions.”

Preliminary hearings for Jensen Fair, Hutchinson and Brock Fair are scheduled for Sept. 11 at the office of District Judge James Owen in Kittanning.
