David Lutz and Sara Thompson

An Aug. 30 wedding is being planned by Sara Thompson and David Lutz, both of Ellwood City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Lynn Thompson of Boyers. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Terry and Linda Lutz of Ellwood City.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Moniteau High School and 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works for PADistance Learning Charter School in Sewickley.

Her fiancé graduated in 1991 from Riverside High School and in 2002 from Edinboro University. He was also a U.S. Army Ranger in the Scout Sniper Platoon. He works for BNZMaterials in Zelienople.
