Shirley Brown and Richard Sallmen Sr.

A Sept. 19 wedding is being planned by Shirley Brown and Richard Sallmen Sr., both of Enon Valley.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Barbara Ann Brown of Valencia and the late Arthur Brown. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are John and Shirley Sallmen of New Castle.

The bride-elect is a 1986 graduate of Mars High School. and a 1990 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works for the Youngstown Vindicator in Youngstown, Ohio.

Her fiancé graduated in 1985 from Lawrence County Vocational-Technical School. He also attended the Shenango Valley School of Business. He is employed by Ipsco Koppel Tubulars Corp. in Beaver Falls.
