Emergency crews in Butler County were busy Friday evening, responding to multiple vehicle accidents.

An icy brick street was to blame for a three-car accident in Butler just before 4 p.m. in the 700 block of South Main Street.

Authorities at the scene said a car struck two vehicles on the hill, including a parked car, and ended up on a sidewalk.

Nobody was injured in the accident. The city fire department and police responded to the accident.

The street was closed as officials called for a salt truck.

About 6:50 p.m., a tractor-trailer crashed over a hillside on Route 422 in Clearfield Township.

The driver of the rig was not injured, but emergency crews were there for more than four hours, according to 911 reports.

About 7:30 p.m., two cars crashed into one another at the intersection of Route 19 and Brandt Drive in Cranberry Township. At least one person suffered minor injuries.

Then about 7:45 p.m., no one was injured when a car reportedly went over a guard rail on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township.
