Derek Hancher and Sarah Johnston

A July 25 wedding is being planned by Sarah Johnston of Renfrew and Derek Hancher of Zelienople.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tim and Susie Johnston of Renfrew. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are George and Darla Hancher of Harmony.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2005 graduate of Allegheny College. She received a degree from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2008 and is an attorney for Buchanan, Ingersoll and Rooney in Pittsburgh.

Her fiancé graduated in 2001 from Seneca Valley High School and in 2005 from Allegheny College. He received a master's degree in 2007 from Slippery Rock University. He is a teacher at Shenango Elementary School in New Castle.
