Mark Evans and Virginia Ficker

A May 2 wedding is being planned by Virginia Ficker and Mark Evans, both of Winston-Salem, N.C.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tim and Claire Ficker of Fort Myers, Fla. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Jonathan and Joyce Evans of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Severna Park High School and a 2008 graduate of James Madison University. She works for Schollander Law Associates in Winston-Salem.

Her fiancé graduated in 2003 from Butler High School and in 2007 from James Madison University. He works for Firebirds Restaurant in Winston-Salem.
