Christopher Skocik and Kristina Bennett

An Oct. 24 wedding is being planned by Kristina Bennett and Christopher Skocik, both of Columbia, Md.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Jan Bennett of Saxonburg. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Edward and Caroline Skocik of Bridgeport, Ohio.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University. She works for NASA in Greenbelt, Md.

Her fiance graduated in 1992 from St. John Central High School and in 1997 from Ohio State University. He works for QinetiQ North America in Greenbelt.
