Amanda Gold, a second-grade teacher at McQuistion Elementary School in the Butler Area School District, is one of 20 teachers nationwide to win a $1,000 Amazon gift card from TCC.

The nationwide Verizon authorized dealer gave away the gift cards as part of its seventh annual Teachers Rock Supply Giveaway.

Gold said she will use her award to provide unique seating options, a reading run and organizers for student materials in her classroom.
