Dorothy V. (Everly) Frank

Dorothy V. (Everly) Frank, 89, of Butler passed away at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Carnegie to the late Valentine Everly and Edna (Cole) Everly.

Mrs. Frank was a member of the Butler Chapter 45 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Order Amarath Lodge 145, East Butler Auxiliary and the Onedia Valley Auxiliary.

She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, needle point and baking. Mrs. Frank was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

Mrs. Frank is survived by her husband of 71 years, Howard W. Frank Jr., who she married Feb. 21, 1944; two sons, Howard Frank III and his wife, Sandra, of West Sunbury and Gary Frank and his wife, Marian, of Slippery Rock; two daughters, Linda E. (Frank) Graham of Butler and Pamala Reges and her husband, Mark, of Butler; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Wanda Groover of Nashville, Tenn., and Sheldine Armstrong of Atlanta, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Valentine Everly, and by one sister, Laverne Reed.

FRANK — Friends of Dorothy V. (Everly) Frank, who died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at theThompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kurt Knobel, pastor, officiating.
