Shannon Coleman
Shannon Lee Coleman, along with her unborn son, Malachi Malik Edwards, died at Butler Memorial Hospital Feb. 14, 2022.
Born April 24, 2001, she was a 2019 graduate of Neptune High School in New Jersey. A culinary intern at the Rugby School, her greatest accomplishment was being a mother. She was a fierce young woman, always looking for a bit of fun mischief and wasn't afraid to offend someone. She had a unique and strong connection with her siblings, and was ready for a wrestling match at any second. She would tell you how it is and call you out if something wasn't genuine. She had aspirations to work in health care.
She is survived by her daughter, Amaya Mathurin of Neptune, N.J.; her mother, Linda Lingle of Butler; her father, Matthew L. Coleman of Grantville, Pa.; her siblings, Matthew R. Coleman of Tallulah, La., Lisa Lingle of Alliance, Ohio, Tiffany Lingle and Daniel Coleman of Butler, and Matthew E. Coleman of Martinsburg, W.Va.; and six nieces and nephews; and her fiancé, Wayne (Mack) Edwards of Lyndora.
