G. Dale Obringer

G. Dale Obringer, 80, of Freeport, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at Allegheny Valley Hospital.

Dale was born in Natrona Heights on July 16, 1941, and was a son of the late Helen M. (Reedy) and George A. Obringer.

Dale served in the U.S. Air Force and specialized in air support during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the Evangel Heights Assembly of God in Sarver.

He was an inspector at Permaform in New Kensington, for 23 years. He later worked at several Giant Eagle locations in the area, where he was a meat-cutter, bagger and cashier for 13 years.

Dale is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara J. (Hancock) Obringer; and his sister, Rosalie Coy of Saxonburg.

He is also survived by two nephews, Kenneth Obringer Jr. and Nicholas Obringer; and two nieces, Julia Obringer and Tanya Arlott.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth A. Obringer Sr.

OBRINGER — There will be no public visitation for G. Dale Obringer, who died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022.

A private family burial will be held in Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.

Arrangements are under the direction of REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, Freeport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dale's name may be made to the Evangel Heights Assembly of God, 120 Beale Road, Sarver, PA 16055.
