Search continues for Slippery Rock man who evaded authorities

PROSPECT — The search for a Slippery Rock Township man wanted on felony assault charges stemming from altercations with his father continued this weekend, but the suspect remains at large.

Cody Isaacson, 27, allegedly drove his car into his father's porch along New Castle Road in Prospect on Sept. 22.

He was last seen Thursday on the 100 block of New Castle Road, but fled into a wooded area as police attempted to arrest him. He was last seen wearing a blue flannel shirt and a black hat.

State police reported Isaacson may be armed, and is considered dangerous.

An arrest warrant was issued for Isaacson on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, intimidation of a witness or victim, criminal mischief and harassment.

The Sept. 22 porch-ramming altercation may have occurred, documents said, because Isaacson was allegedly angry that his father called police about him for an incident the previous day at their home.

In that case, police said, Isaacson is accused of threatening to beat up his father while holding a sledgehammer and pouring gasoline on the victim and chasing him around with a lighter.

He also allegedly got into his vehicle and attempted to run over his father while the older man was on a lawn mower. The father was apparently not injured.

Isaacson is charged in that incident with simple assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and harassment.

Anyone with information about Isaacson's whereabouts should call the Butler barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police at 724-284-8100 or 911.
