Mars Borough Council approved a number of items Monday night, including:

- Updating the QuickBooks program to the online version at an estimated cost of $900

- Approving the tax certification fee at $15 per year of certification, effective Jan. 1, 2022

- Increasing the tax duplicate fee from $10 to $15

- Adjusting water department employee Andy Schultheis’ hourly wages from $15.84 to $17.84 an hour

- Council met in an executive session after the meeting to discuss personnel matters.
