Bridge project to affect 3 Clinton Twp. roads
Three roads in Clinton Township will be affected by a state bridge project.
The state Department of Transportation announced Monday that the bridges over Rocky Run on Saxonburg Boulevard, Wylie Road and Brewer/Westminster Road will be replaced.
The first bridge to be replaced will cause a road closure on Saxonburg Boulevard between Wylie and Brewster roads beginning June 7.
The detour will be Ekastown Road to Bakerstown Road and back to Saxonburg Boulevard south of its intersection with Brewer Road.
Once the work is completed, the bridges over Rocky Run on Wylie and Brewer roads will be replaced.
Marked detours will be posted for the latter two bridge replacements, according to a PennDOT news release.
The $1.85 million multi-bridge replacement will continue through the end of September.
The contractor for the project is Charles J. Merlo Inc.
