Succop Nature Park, 185 W. Airport Road, Penn Township, will host Creatures of the Night, a guided walk to meet larger-than-life costumed nocturnal animals, the evening of Oct. 26. Registration is necessary at www.aswp.org or by calling 412-963-6100.

Nautical Nature pontoon boat at Moraine State Park operates cruises on Lake Arthur at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from McDanel’s Launch on the North Shore. Call 724-368-9185. The cruises end with the Oct. 27 Halloween cruise.

Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, hosts a guided walk on “Fall Foliage and Other Autumn Wonders” at 2 p.m. Oct. 14.
