Jake Jewart allowed just three hits in six shut-out innings to spark West Sunbury to a 3-0 victory over Center Township in Butler County Area Baseball League play Thursday.

Gage Neal earned a save by pitching a scoreless seventh inning with two strikeouts.

Nick Sosigian singled twice in the victory.

Jake Keene, Jacob Somerville and Daniel Kline each had a base hit for Center Township.

Meridian 9, Karns City 5 — Gabe Slagle had three singles and drove in three runs for Meridian.

Jake Slomers had a double and single with two RBI.

For Karns City, Nolan Riley went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run. Logan Pistorius added two hits.
