Isabel M. Deist Osenider
Isabel M. Deist Osenider, 80, of Oil City died Thursday at UPMC-Northwest in Seneca after a valiant fight with cancer.
Isabel was born April 2, 1932, in Oil City, and was the daughter of the late Edward W. McCutcheon and Mildred Coughlin McCutcheon.
She was a 1950 graduate of Oil City High School.
Through the years, Isabel worked at J&L Steel, the vo-tech school and the First Seneca Bank, which then became National City, from where she retired. In her retirement, Isabel enjoyed working for Butler’s Candies.
She was married on July 12, 1952, in Oil City, to Roy E. Deist, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1988.
On Oct. 26, 1996, she married Louis H. Osenider, and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2000.
Isabel was an active member of the Good Hope Lutheran Church, the Belles Lettres Club and the Red Hatters. She also was a member of the Venango Chorus. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Leslie M. Cochran of Oil City; two grandsons, Cade J. Cochran and Ethan R. Cochran of Oil City; one sister, Doris Gallino and her husband, Joseph, of Butler; one brother, Donald McCutcheon of Sacramento, Calif.; one nephew, Richard Dodd; and one niece, Janet Cox.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Edward McCutcheon.

Deist Osenider, who died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Reinsel Funeral Home, 116 Bissell Ave., Oil City.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Good Hope Lutheran Church with the Rev.
