Merle L. Stalker
Merle L. Stalker, 83, formerly of Emlenton, passed away on Wednesday morning, Oct. 13, 2021.
Born on June 4, 1938, in Butler County, he was the son of the late Lee D. and Maude Mae Young Stalker.
Merle was a 1956 graduate of the former Hooker High School.
He became a heavy-equipment operator and was employed at Kerry Coal Company of Beaver Falls.
He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Merle is survived by his three children, Tanya (Mike) Saper of Hilliards, Tammy Stalker of Homer, Alaska and Tina Brehm of Chicora.
He is also survived by his brother, Richard Stalker of Butler; his sister; Luree Kriedler of Indianapolis, Ind.; and his five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Kerr; and his brothers, Frank, Fred, Donald Joe, Jack, Dale, and his twin, Earl Stalker.
STALKER — Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services held for Merle L. Stalker, who died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021.
A private graveside service will take place at the Eau Claire Cemetery on Saturday.
H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home will be assisting the family at this time.
