Melinda Beth Lutz
Melinda Beth Lutz, 26, went to be with her heavenly Father Tuesday.
She was born on March 12, 1992, at North Hills Passavant Hospital to John and Donna Lutz.
From the beginning of her life, she graced those around her with her smile and kind-hearted spirit. Her beaming smile earned her the nickname “Grinny,” an attribute that founded her personality.
She graduated in 2010 from Seneca Valley High School, where she enjoyed being active in the school choir, traveling for multiple competitions. Outside of school, she participated in Beaver County 4-H, raising and showing sheep, Grace Church Youth Group and AWANA.
Her love for children led her to continue activities in AWANA as a leader of both Sparks and Cubbies and as a coach for the AWANA games. She loved the kids she worked with and looked forward to spending time with them every week.
She served five years as a bus driver for Valley Lines where she further demonstrated her love for people and children. Her friends at the company remember her as a “very kind,” “helpful” and “smiley” person. Her family loved hearing her stories of the children that rode her bus. She found importance in providing a meaningful, fun and safe start to each student's day.
One of her biggest hobbies was crocheting. She made numerous blankets that she gifted to her cousin's children and her own niece and nephew. She also loved baking and created many cakes and cupcakes for family birthdays, weddings and showers.
She treasured the times she spent with family members, including trips to stay with the Bruntons, baby-sitting her niece and nephew and being with her loving parents and six siblings.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her parents, John and Donna Lutz; her siblings, Jonathan (Kelsey) Lutz, Chelsea (Paul) Hunter, Tiffany (Blake) Bagby, Timothy (Erica) Lutz, Miranda (Charles) Cowan and Thomas Lutz; her niece and nephew, Emily, Lane, and one on the way; and her large extended family and many friends.
She was greeted in heaven by those that have gone before her, Edward and Leona Lutz, Nelson and Dorothy Cox, James Brunton Jr., Karen Wisler and Mildred Probst.
LUTZ — Friends of Melinda Beth Lutz, who died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Reformed Church, 320 E.
