Ronald Watterson
Ronald Adrian Watterson, 89, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, while under the care of Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Butler.
Born July 20, 1932, in Butler, he was the son of the late Wilson Watterson and Fannie Hutchison Watterson.
Ron was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Army, having served from 1949 to 1952.
He was retired from Armco, where he was employed in the shipping department for over 35 years.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 778 of Lyndora.
Ron will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory his two daughters, Patricia Brunton of Butler, and Carol (Raymond) Ritzert of Oregon; a number of grandchildren, great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Beck Watterson; one son; one daughter; his twin brother and his other twin brothers; and a sister. Ron was the last of his generation.
WATTERSON — In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service for Ronald Adrian Watterson, who died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022.
