Esther Roudebush

Esther Louella Roudebush, 84, of Grove City, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Sharon Regional Hospital.

Esther was born Dec. 27, 1936, in Cherry Valley, Butler County, to George and Henrietta (Nulph) Risch.

She married William R. Roudebush on Nov. 4, 1959. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2010.

Esther was a graduate of East Lawrence High School.

She worked as a waitress in the area for over 40 years, at both the former Mercer Diner and Perkins in Grove City.

She was a caregiver in personal care at Trinity Living Center.

Esther retired in 2020 from Earth Sun and Moon in Grove City.

She was a member of The Church of God in Findley Township.

She is survived by a son, Timothy Roudebush, and two daughters, Connie Roudebush and Penny Ramp, all of Grove City; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Sayre, and Margaret Sweeney; and a brother, the Rev. David (Alvera) Risch.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Risch; and two brothers, Lawrence and Lee Risch.

ROUDEBUSH — Visitation hours for Esther Louella Roudebush, who died Thursday, July 22, 2021, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Texter officiating.

Burial will take place in Leesburg Cemetery.
