Richard L. Liebold
Born on April 30, 1931, in Robinson, Indiana County, he was the son of the late Ada Liebold and the stepson of Earl Kinzey.
Richard had been a coal miner for Bethlehem Mines. He and his wife, Ellen, were former house parents at The Mars Home for Youth (formerly The United Presbyterian Home for Children).
He was a member of the Valencia Presbyterian Church.Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and was a member of the Mars VFW, and the USS Ingraham DD 694 Association.He was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed following high school sports. He and his wife spent a lot of time at Lake Chautauqua, N.Y., at their cottage in Lawndale. He enjoyed fishing for muskie — he caught and released over 170.Surviving family members are three daughters, Linda Liebold of Paden City, W.Va., Carol Liebold of Valencia, and Karen Noah (Mark) of Butler; two granddaughters, Amanda Noah and Chelsey Noah-Ziacik (Dustin); three great-grandchildren, Makai Noah, Kinzey Ziacik and Ada Ziacik; and a sister, Lynn Gearhart (Oscar) of Home, Pa.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ellen Charles Liebold, whom he married on Nov. 21, 1956, and who died on May 24, 2018; and by a brother, Jim Kinzey.LIEBOLD — Arrangements for Richard L.
