Angeline Julie Venditto

Angeline Julie Venditto, 93, of New Castle passed away peacefully Tuesday at the Jameson Care Center, New Castle.

She was a graduate of Slippery Rock University, a dedicated teacher for 45 years and a proud member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Alpha Sigma Chapter.

She was a devoted member of the St. Vitus Church. Julie's greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and practicing her Catholic faith.

Julie is survived by her brother, Michael (Kathy) Venditto; her nieces, Patricia (Samuel) Zinger, Julianne (Richard) Daller, Patricia (Tim) Denko, and Karen (Brad) Venditto; her nephews, John (Stephanie) Morar, Anthony (Lauren) Miscimarra Jr., Philip (Mary Lynn) Miscimarra, Michael (Lisa) Venditto, Robert Venditto, and Ronald Sneed; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamie (Anthony) Verone, Jason (Allison) Sneed, Rachel (Matthew) Godfrey, Justin (Jessica) Zinger, Kristen (Richard) Mangelli, David (Alexandra) Morar, Katie Morar, Jonathan (Katherine) Miscimarra, Adrienne Miscimarra, Michele (Frank) Hendrickson, Matthew Stutz, Madeleine Denko, Charles Denko, Emily (Evan) Marsh, Jocelyn (Gregory) Carvlin, Luke Daller, Andrew Miscimarra, Joseph Miscimarra, and Eric Miscimarra; her many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, and her special caregiver and friend, Elizabeth Shepherd.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Philomena Venditto; her sisters, Madeline Morar, Helen Miscimarra and Patricia Venditto, and her niece, Marilyn Sneed.

Venditto — Visitation for Angeline Julie Venditto, who passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 3000 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105.A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for the St. Vitus Church, 910 S. Mercer St., New Castle, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. officiated by the Rev. Father Michael Ackerman. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.The family asks that memorial contributions take the form of donations made in Julie's honor to Gentiva Hospice, 190 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.decarbofuneralhome.com.
