Carmody commits to Notre Dame
Robby Carmody, Mars' star basketball player who is entering his senior year with the Planets, made a verbal commitment Thursday to attend the University of Notre Dame.
A starter at guard since his freshman season, Carmody helped the Planets reach the state title game as a sophomore and the state quarterfinals this past season. He chose Notre Dame over a number of high-profile Division I programs.
