Lois A. Bauer

Lois A. Bauer, 84, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at her residence.

Born Oct. 23, 1937, in Herman, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Naomi (Keasey) Gallagher.

Before raising her family, she was employed by Delta Airlines in the reservations department.

She was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Lois enjoyed reading, watching TV, traveling, and visiting casinos with her late husband, Richard.

Surviving are her children, John (Judith) Bauer of Leavenworth, Kan., Richard Bauer of Butler, Veronica Andrews of Valencia, Eric (Bridgette) Bauer of Lake Peekskill, N.Y., and Erika Blystone of Evans City.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly Newton, John Alexander, Rachel and Kelly Andrews, Sean and Shane Bauer, Josh, Greg and Jarrett Blystone, and Ashley and Autumn Blystone; her great-grandchldren, Briton, Eathan and Ragan Alexander, Harper and Ruby Newton, Hunter and Taylor Blystone, and Willow, Aspen and Oakley Blystone; her sister- in- law, Donna Gallagher of Herman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Bauer, whom she married Feb. 7, 1959, and he passed away Oct. 14, 2010; a grandson, Benjamin; a granddaughter, Tara Andrews; two brothers, George and Bill Gallagher; her sister, Marylou Laird; and her son-in- law, Donald Andrews.

BAUER — Friends of Lois A. Bauer, who died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler, with the Rev. Charles Bober officiating.

Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
