VA Butler honors volunteers
BUTLER TWP The VA Butler Healthcare, formerly Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center, on Friday honored its volunteers at an annual luncheon as part of the VA's National Volunteer Week.
Patricia Nealon, the facility director, thanked the 641 volunteers for their total of 47,046 hours of service, as well as $211,000 in monetary and non-monetary donations for fiscal year 2008.
Volunteers received awards Friday and their hours of service were recognized.
