PASSHE approves one-year freeze on tuition and fees

The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors approved a freeze on tuition and fees, despite a more than $60 million budget gap.

PASSHE Chancellor Daniel Greenstein recommended the zero percent increase to tuition and fees heading into fiscal year 2019-2020 at the Student Success Committee meeting.

The motion was then approved and unopposed by the Board of Governors and will go into effect for the upcoming fiscal year.
