Robert J. Zanella

Robert J. Zanella, 81, of Brooksville, Fla., passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021.

Robert was born on April 25, 1940, in Concord Township, and was the son of the late Joseph Zanella and the late Mary Elizabeth Campbell Zanella.

Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army.He worked for Armco Steel.He enjoyed gardening and was a Master Gardener. Bob also was a member of the Argyle Lodge in Chicora.Bob is survived by his longtime personal friend, Dan Kimmell of Brooksville, Fla.; his siblings, Suzanne Grenet of Parker, Louise (David) Rankin of Hooker, James Zanella of Butler, and John (Anita) Zanella of West Sunbury; his children, Steve (Doreen) Zanella of Raleigh, N.C., Michele (Joe) Goray of Cecil, and Brandon Zanella of Butler; his grandchildren, Whitney (Kyle) Simonian, Austin (Melissa) Zanella, Brennan Zanella, Trevor (Susie) Goray, Taylor (Katie) Zanella, Tanner (Elysa) Goray and Brady Zanella; his great-grandchildren, Bryce, Gavin and Emma; and many nieces and nephews.ZANELLA — Family and friends of Robert J. Zanella, who died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Concord Presbyterian Church, 625 Hooker Road, West Sunbury, with the Rev.
