Jeanette “Jean” Marie Van Wyck, 77, of Butler, passed away on May 2, 2021, at Quality Life Services-Sugar Creek.

She was born Aug. 13, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Edward Charles Milbrandt and the late Erma (Giljahn) Milbrandt.

Jean was a graduate of Bedford High School.

She worked at the Lubrizol Corp. as a secretary, and a waitress for many years.

Jean enjoyed reading, puzzles, knitting, crocheting and sewing.

She was Catholic by faith.

Jean is survived by her son, Dallas Edward (Deanna) Van Wyck of Butler; one daughter, Kimberly Ann Snare; three grandchildren, Chad E. Van Wyck of Ohio, Ashton D. Van Wyck of Butler, and Ariana S. Van Wyck of Butler; two brothers, Edward R. (Nancy) Milbrandt of North Olmsted, Ohio, and Timothy C. Milbrandt of Rio Grande, N.J.; one sister, Kathryn R. (Wayne) Holsopple of Boston Heights, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James J. Milbrandt.

VAN WYCK — There will be no public visitation or funeral services for Jeanette “Jean” Marie Van Wyck, who died Sunday, May 2, 2021.

Arrangements were taken care of by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
