EVANS CITY — The borough flooded again Thursday night — this time, it was from inside a building.

Fire crews were dispatched to Evans City Pharmacy & Gift Shoppe around 8:20 p.m. when the building was “entirely” flooded, according to Butler County Emergency Services communications staff.

Water was rushing from the entrance on North Washington Street, and fire and police worked to contain the flooding and to shut off its source. The Evans City VFD was on scene for an hour.

The staff member said there was no information available on damages to the pharmacy.
