SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock University Athletic Department and University Advancement will host the inaugural Rock Athletics Giving Day on Friday to raise funds for each of SRU’s NCAA Division II athletic teams.

The event will help generate funds for athletic scholarships and operating expenses for the university’s 17 NCAA Division II teams, many of which have been affected by a loss of revenue from various camps, clinics and facility rentals because of season and event postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
