JACKSON TWP — A section of Route 68 in Jackson Township is closed after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, dropping live wires on to the road at the intersection of Route 68 and Rylie Drive Tuesday 9 a.m.

The Route is closed west of Hartmann Drive for less than a mile.

Power company crews are on scene and motorists The road is expected to be closed for about an hour, according to township police.

The driver of the vehicle was not transported for any injuries, police said.
