Robert J. Morgan

Robert “Jim” J. Morgan, 78, of Jacksonville, Ark., passed away on Jan. 8, 2021.

He was born April 11, 1942, in Butler, to Meville Clyde Morgan and Glenna Maye Terwilliger.

Jim moved to Hershey as a child, and attended Milton Hershey School, where he graduated in 1961.

The following year, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, and in 1965, he started his military career as a coveted flight engineer (FE) on the C-130. Robert remained an FE during the Vietnam War, until 1973. He was selflessly awarded two Distinguished Flying Crosses during this time.After the Vietnam War, he joined the Titan Missile Squadron, where he retired from in 1988.Jim enjoyed camping and fishing. He was an avid Razorback and Steelers fan.Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, George.Jim is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Morgan; his son, Brian Morgan; his sister, Susan Collar of Butler; two granddaughters; one grandson; three great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; and many other family and friends.MORGAN — Arrangements for Robert “Jim” J.
