Denis Michael Adamosky of Slippery Rock, passed away on Feb. 9, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, following a long illness. He was 67 years old.

Denis was born in Butler, Dec. 21,1954, to Michael and Mary Elizabeth Kovach Adamosky.

Denis graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1973.

He married Valerie Ann Keppel on June 29, 1974.

Denis worked at Castle Rubber in East Butler for 21 years, and then went on to own and operate NE Equipment.

Denis truly enjoyed life. He loved to work with wood, fixing old tractors and restoring old things. Denis also enjoyed talking politics.

He attended St. Peter Catholic Church in Slippery Rock.

Above everything, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and his dog, JR.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie Adamosky of Slippery Rock; two sons, Michael (Cheryl McKinnis) Adamosky of Slippery Rock, and Timothy (Crystal) Adamosky of Slippery Rock; one daughter, Kimberly (Martin) Falmlen of Huntington, W.Va.; two sisters, Charlotte (Kevin) Rector Bolinger of New Castle, and Shirley (Jack) Jones of Slippery Rock; and three granddaughters, Claire, Anna and Faith Adamosky of Slippery Rock.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son-in-law, William Geibel; and his brother-in-law, Bob Rector.

ADAMOSKY — The family of Denis Michael Adamosky, who died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.

The family will have a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock.

Interment will follow in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
