Woman faces child endangerment charges
BUTLER TWP — A Lyndora woman is facing criminal charges after she allegedly left three young children alone with her husband, a Tier III sex offender.
April Cubbage, 29, on Friday was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of children after she allegedly left the children — ages 2, 4, and 8 — unsupervised with Christopher Cubbage, 31, who in 2003 was convicted of aggravated indecent assault of a person younger than 13 years old.
Butler County Children and Youth Services on Nov. 30 went to the Cubbages’ home on Randolph Street to investigate a report that the 4-year-old boy suffered facial injuries, according to court documents.
CYS discovered the three children were left unsupervised with Christopher Cubbage.
April Cubbage, formerly April Roy, reportedly was told in August by CYS not to leave the children alone with her husband.
