Butler’s varsity bowling team split its season-opening match with North Allegheny Wednesday at Perry Lanes.

The Golden Tornado girls won, 7-0, as Reegan Malis rolled a 250 game and 614 series. Freshman Kelsee McConnell had a 221-600, Lauren Bash a 224-559 and Rachael Blose a 195-558.

Eric Devore led Butler’s boys with a 259-645, Logan McClaine contributing a 225-game. Dylan Scheidler had a 691 series, Jeb Doden a 675 and Joey Lydon a 650 for NA.

Butler hosts Kiski Friday at Family Bowlaway.
