Driver identified in Parker Bridge tractor-trailer wreck

PARKER — State police identified the trucker whose rig wrecked Wednesday afternoon on Parker Bridge on Route 268.

Ikrom Kadirov, 44, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was making a right turn from North River Avenue onto Route 268 in Parker, Armstrong County, around 3:30 p.m. when the right rear trailer tires rode up onto the concrete bridge wall, police said.

The 2018 Freightliner, which was hauling prefabricated wood panels, overturned on its side. Kadirov and his passenger, Ilhom Islomov, 22, of Brooklyn, were not injured. Both occupants were wearing seat belts.

Apparently, police said, the trailer load was not damaged. The bridge, however, had to be shut down for several hours while the trailer was unloaded and the truck and trailer uprighted.

An officer with Parker Volunteer Fire Department said Kadirov had just left a nearby facility when the accident occurred.

Along with the Parker VFD, police were assisted at the scene by volunteer firefighters from Emlenton in Venango County and Perry Township in Clarion County.
