Patricia L. Cooley

Patricia L. Cooley, 81, of Cranberry Township passed away Saturday while under the care of St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born Sept. 17, 1936, in Leckrone, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Hoover and Ida Edna Reesler Hoover.

Patricia worked with her husband for many years at Kinney Shoes and then at the G.C. Murphy — Murphy's Mart in the North Hills.

She loved panda bears. Most of all, Pat was a homemaker and she loved her children and her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Pat leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 61 years, Kenneth L. Cooley of Cranberry Township; her children, Barbara Lee Moore and her husband, Gerald, of Butler, and Kenneth L. Cooley and his wife, Mary, of Ellicott City, Md.; her grandchildren, Lindsay Moore-Hill, Anthony Moore, Nathan Schirra, Rachel Schirra, Emma Cooley and Sean Patrick Cooley; her great-granddaughter, Hayden Moore; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Lois Jean Schirra; and her brother, Lloyd K. Hoover.

COOLEY — Memorial visitation for Patricia L. Cooley, who died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
