West New Castle Street Bridge closes
The West New Castle Street bridge closed on Monday so crews can replace and widen it as part of the Sullivan Run flood control project. The street between Mercer and Chestnut streets will remain closed until October. The work is being done by Carmen Paliotta Contracting.
