Betty Jane Cipolla
Betty Jane Cipolla, 88, of Butler, passed away Thursday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Oct. 9, 1928, in Butler, the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Schrobel) Crawford.
Betty was a
member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church. She had been a server at Eastland Diner, Country Manor and Morgan's Diner.
Betty loved playing Bingo, collecting coins and angel figurines and watching television. She was a fan of the Atlanta Braves.
Surviving are a daughter, Debora Hustak of Butler; a son, James Cipolla of Chicora; four grandchildren, Dawna (Mike) Hustak, Angie (Jesse) Merten, Holly Cipolla and Michael Cipolla; three great-grandchildren, Erykah, Zoey and Zahra; three sisters, Marie Miller of Butler, Joann Fend of Butler and Joyce Norman of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Tony Cipolla; and two brothers, Frank Crawford and William Crawford.
CIPOLLA — Friends of Betty Jane Cipolla, who died Thursday, March 16, 2017, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.A blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home on Monday with the Rev. Nick Argenteri officiating.Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
