Tiche

Nancy Lee Tiche, 85, of Slippery Rock, passed away at her residence on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022.

She was born in Bolivia, N.C., on Jan. 17, 1937, to Dewey Lee Edwards and Mary Gertrude Arblaster Edwards.

She married V. Eugene Tiche on March 1, 1953, and he preceded her in death Oct. 21, 1992.

She was a homemaker and caregiver.

She enjoyed puzzles, fishing, camping and crafts.

Surviving are two daughters, Trudy (Scott) Cunningham of Big Bear City, Calif., and Mary Sue Tiche of Slippery Rock; her stepbrother, Sonny (Donna) Surrena; four grandchildren, Hunter Gregg, Travis Cunningham, Candace Hoffmaster and Julian Orabono; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Dewey; a daughter, Regina Orabono; and three sisters, Anne Tinker Hiwiller, Mary Linda Kelly and Lois Fay Montest.

TICHE — The family of Nancy Lee Tiche, who died Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, will celebrate a private memorial service at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
